 'Take care of security, to avoid injury



National Sports Council (MSN) to advise the Malaysian challenge athletes flying in the 2012 London Olympics to safeguard not only in practice but also at all times to avoid injury.

NSC director-general, Datuk Seri Zolkples Embong said, all these athletes should be aware of the date of the world's biggest games around the corner and they should be wise keep their safety.


He said MSN does not want the issue of injuries plaguing the contingent arrangements in pursuit of Malaysia's first gold of the Games.

"MSN is deeply concerned about the safety of athletes because we do not want that affect the opportunities for medals.


"In this case, I advise athletes to be careful and avoid the risk of injuries because we do not want the incident suffered Azizulhasni Awang and Datuk Lee Chong Wei happened to the other athletes," he said.


He said Malaysia was fortunate to have suffered injury Azizul and Chong Wei is not so serious.

According to him, at the same time continue to monitor athletes MSN but whatever may happen including at home.
