Deschamps to replace Blanc to become France coach
PARIS: France captain who won the World Cup and European Championships, Didier Deschamps was named as the national coach on Tuesday, according to the French Football Federation (FFF) in its official website.
The 43-year-old former player, who led France to World Cup 1998 and Euro 2000 replacing teammate when both lifted the trophy that Laurent Blanc who reject a two-year contract extension last week.
