Malaysia Super League

Malaysia Super League is the top level of soccer competition in Malaysia in the Malaysia League. It replaces the M League as the highest division where a team of professionals in Malaysia can be involved.

Super League was introduced in 2004, which is a continuation of the previous league start since 1982. League actually relatively late start in Malaysia, even though soccer has long been established in Malaysia since the birth of the Malaysia Cup in this 1921.Liga only shows the top eight teams in the country. Team two will usually be reduced to the lowest Premier League Malaysia. Football Association of Malaysia 
(FAM) also decided to privatize this league and created MSL Limited (or MSL Proprietary Limited) to look at the marketing aspect of this game.

This league has a team of eight and the teams will play three rounds of matches (total 21 games). The first two rounds of play based on the format host / visitors while the third round will be hosted by the stadium with a larger number of viewers on the first two rounds.

Malaysia Super League 2009, this league will have 14 teams and all teams will play each other only twice (total 26 games). It was decided that all teams will not be allowed to have foreign players, however, in 2012, FAM has decided to re-open the opportunity to use the import of foreign players with certain conditions.

Champion Malaysia Super League

Since founded in 2004, four teams have won the Super League with Pahang became the first champion. Kedah became the first team to win the league for two consecutive seasons in 2007 and 2008.

Premier league

Premier League is the second level football competition in the Malaysian League, the Super League. Premier League was introduced in 1989, which is a continuation of the previous league start since 1982. League actually relatively late start in Malaysia, even though soccer has long been established in Malaysia since the birth of the Malaysia Cup in 1921.

  1. I'm a national football supporter, it's really obvious that malaysia football cannot go as far as any other asian country such as south korea, it's prove when we lost to myanmar yesterday. I think a huge change have to be done to our national football to raise.we have to change our style of playing. let have spain as our idol.

  2. it should be changed. Malaysia is now strictly controlled by our own association. Even criticism from the public never accepted by them, but legal action is taken. Association to be dismantled before the players and the way our team game changed. Do you agree with the statement that I issued
